The AlgoIndex iOS App Is Live on the App Store

The AlgoIndex app is on the App Store. Signals with levels drawn on the chart, the AlgoDesk plan and live desk, three market briefings a day, Market Outlook and your journal, all on your phone. Sign in with your existing member account, nothing to set up.

The AlgoIndex app is live on the App Store. If you are already a member, everything you use on the website is now on your phone, you sign in with the account you already have, and there is nothing to configure.

A walkthrough of the AlgoIndex app: AlgoDesk, market briefings, Market Outlook, journal and account overview
Five screens from the app: the desk, the briefings, the outlook, your journal, and your account.

Why this matters more for this product than for most

Plenty of software works fine as a website you check when you happen to be at your desk. This does not. A signal that fires at 10:14 in the morning is worth acting on at 10:14. Read at 11:30, it is a historical record. The gap between those two things is the entire reason this app exists.

The same is true of the desk. When a level gets taken out and the plan changes mid session, that update is only useful while the session is still running. Until now the only way to see it was to have a browser tab open and to think to refresh it. Most people do not spend their day that way, and they should not have to.

One trading day in your pocket: morning briefing at 8:40, pre-market plan at 9:25, signals during the session, afternoon refresh at 1:30, closing statement at 4:00
A normal day, and where the app reaches you in it.

What is actually in it

This is not a trimmed down companion that shows you a summary and pushes you back to the website. It carries the working parts of the member dashboard.

In the app: signals, AlgoDesk, briefings, Market Outlook, journal, one account

AlgoDesk

The full daily cycle: the pre market plan published before the open, the live desk that gets updated through the session as conditions change, and the closing statement at the end of the day. This is the part that benefits most from being on a phone, because it is the part that changes while the market is moving.

Signals

Every signal arrives with the specific contract, the entry, and the exit, drawn on the chart the same way you see it on the desktop. Not a text alert telling you something happened and inviting you to go look it up, but the actual trade, with the levels on a chart you can pinch and scroll. Closed trades keep their markers, so you can scroll back through the session and see how the day developed rather than only what is live right now.

Market briefings and Market Outlook

Three briefings a day: the morning edition before the open, the afternoon refresh, and the overnight edition that sets up the following session. Each one carries the levels that matter, the catalysts on the calendar, and the current read on conditions. The daily Market Outlook analysis is there in full, not as an excerpt with a link back to the website.

Your journal

Every trade you have logged, with the AI review attached to each one. If you use the journal to review your own decisions rather than only to keep records, having it in your pocket changes when that review happens. Reviewing a trade the evening of, while you still remember what you were thinking, is a different exercise than reviewing it a week later from a spreadsheet.

Signing in

Use the same email and password you use on members.algoindex.com. Your plan, your strategies, and your history carry over automatically.

There is no separate app subscription, no upgrade, and no second account to create. If you pay for a plan on the website, the app is included. If you have a free journal account, that works too, and your journal is there when you sign in.

Notifications, and the control you have over them

The app asks for notification permission the first time you open it, and this is the part worth saying yes to. It is the mechanism that closes the gap described at the top of this article. When a signal fires or the desk gets updated mid session, the alert reaches you in seconds instead of whenever you next happen to open a browser.

You are not signing up for a firehose. Notifications are grouped into four categories, and each one can be turned off independently in the app settings at any time.

Four notification categories, each one optional: trade signals, AlgoDesk, market briefings, Market Outlook
If you only want the trade signals and nothing else, that is two taps.

What it is not, yet

Worth being straight about the current state. This is version one, shipped this week.

There is no Android version yet. It is on the list and it is not scheduled, and we would rather say that plainly than imply it is closer than it is.

Order entry is not in the app. Signals reach you and your connected broker executes them the same way it does today. The app is where you see what is happening, not a second place where trades can be placed.

The app is built on the same data the website runs on, which means it improves as the platform does rather than needing its own separate release for every change.

One ask

We launched this week, which means the app has almost no ratings yet. On the App Store that matters more than it probably should. Ratings are a large part of how the store decides whether to show an app to anyone at all, and an app with no ratings is effectively invisible to people searching for one.

If AlgoIndex has been useful to you, a rating takes about thirty seconds and it is the single most helpful thing you can do for us right now. If something about the app is not useful, we would rather hear that directly first, so we can fix it.

If something looks wrong

Tell us, and please be specific. Members can post in the support channel, or reply to any AlgoIndex email and it reaches a person rather than a queue. Bug reports from the first week of a launch are worth more than they will be at any later point, because they are the ones that shape what version two fixes.
